What time is check in?

Check-in is between 1600 and 1900 hours. If you think that you will be arriving later please let us know.

Do you offer early check in?

Early check-in may be possible and a charge may be applicable. Please request in advance.

What time is check out?

Check out is 1100 hours.

Do you offer late check out?

It may be possible, please speak to the hosts.

Parking

There is ample free parking in front of LeMacassar.

What facilities do you offer for cyclists?

Many of our guests travel with the own bikes and we have secure storage for your bikes during your stay. You can also charge you bike overnight. As cycling enthusiasts ourselves, there are numerous cycling options available in this region and the hosts will be glad to share options. We also have bicycle repair facilities should it be needed. If you would like to rent electric bikes, the hosts can makes an arrangement with a company that offers this service.

Restaurants

There are numerous restaurants in town, in nearby villages and Amiens has a large selection. If you would like suggestions, or assistance in making a reservation, please speak to the hosts.

Security

Le Macassar is a walled property and access is only via the main gate which is always locked and monitored by a security camera. Each room at Le Macassar is also locked and the hosts have an extra key so that we can refresh supplies and clean the room during your stay. If you lose a key, there will be a replacement charge.

What happens if I leave something behind?

Don’t worry, it happens. If we find your missing item, we’re happy to mail it back to you. You only have to arrange and pay for shipping.

Can I eat in my room?

Due to the nature of the furnishings and antiques in each of our rooms, no in-room dining is permitted. Upon request, we can provide cutlery and utensils so that you may enjoy your meal in our main dining room or in the garden.

Can I enjoy all the common rooms and wine cellar?

We have fabulous rooms at Le Macassar, including a Louis Majorelle salon, a large tiled room completed by famed Armenian artist David Ohnassian, an Art Deco billiard room and a walled garden. We love it when our guests take the time to enjoy experiencing these rooms and you are free to do so at your leisure.

Our 1000 year old wine cellar is also available for viewing as pre-arranged with the hosts. Special wine tastings can also be booked.

Do you offer tea, coffee and other beverages?

Yes, free coffee and tea is available. We also have beer, wine and soda available at a nominal charge.

What services are available in Corbie?

The village of Corbie is a market town and has a wide variety of services including grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, hair dressers and other stores. For over 1400 years there has been a market in Corbie and this continues today with a large market on Friday morning and a smaller biological market on Wednesday mornings in front of the town hall.

Do you provide a high chairs and baby cots?

Can I smoke in my room?

In order to preserve the integrity of our historical home, no smoking is permitted inside the premises. Smoking is permitted in the garden.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not permitted on the property unless arrangements have been made in advance and a small charge will apply.
